MRS. KATURAH ANN GRANT KELLY, age 98, of Chauncey, GA, died Monday, January 20, 2020.

 Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, January 23, at Chauncey City Cemetery, with Pastor Dahl McDermitt, Jr. officiating.

 Mrs. Kelly was a born in Helena, a faithful member, longtime Sunday School teacher, and pianist for Chauncey United Methodist Church for over 60 years, and a retired educator and math teacher for the Dodge County Board of Education for over 22 years. She was a graduate of Chauncey High School, received her B.S. in Education from Georgia State College for Women, and was a dedicated wife, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Katurah enjoyed playing the piano, traveling, and most of all spending time with her family. She was daughter of the late Annie Hardy Grant and Rev. O.A. Grant, and was preceded in death by her Husband of over 73 years, William Robert Kelly, Son-in-law, Waymon McCranie, and 6 Siblings, Jack Grant, Hardy Grant, Oscar Grant, Bill Grant, Sarilu Grant Woodard, and Dee Grant Jones.

 Survivors: 3 Daughters – Kay K. Skipper (Darrell) of Chauncey, Anne K. McCranie, and Caryle K. Parkerson (Rex) both of Eastman; Son – Bob Kelly (Maria) of Eastman; 12 Grandchildren – Sheree Robinson (Brian), Sonya Bundick (Garrick), Shala Weston (Shannon), Scarlett Selph (Russell), Dawn Knight (Mike), Al McCranie (Candi), Daina Peacock (Mark), Rachel Wooten (Shawn), Dr. Grant Parkerson (Amanda), Robert Kelly, Hilary Kelly, and Clint Luke; 27 Great-Grandchildren; 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Brother – John C. Grant (Thelma) of Loganville; 6 Sisters-in-law – Joyce K. Bland, Janet K. Wade, Lois K. Meadows, Louise Kelly, Mary Grant, and Wilene Grant; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

 The family may be contacted at the residence of Anne K. McCranie, 2552 Chauncey-Rhine Hwy., Eastman, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 5:00PM-7:00PM Wednesday, January 22. In addition to flowers, the family request contributions to the Methodist Children’s Home, 304 Pierce Avenue, Macon, GA 31204.
