MRS. KATHY ANN WILLIAMS GIDDENS, age 69, of Eastman, GA, died Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Emory University Hospital Midtown in Atlanta, GA.

 Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Friday, August 14, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Ronnie Jones officiating, with interment in Orphans Cemetery.

 Kathy was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, a member of Liberty Baptist Church, and a 1969 Graduate of Dodge County High School. She was a former employee of Stuckey’s Candy Store and Standard Candy Company for over 15 years and was the Bookkeeper for G&S Fire Extinguisher for 21 years. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed crocheting, arts and crafts, hunting and fishing, bookkeeping, cooking and spending time with her family. Kathy was the daughter of the late Betty Williams Williams and Johnny Durvis Williams and was preceded in death by a brother, Rickey Williams and a brother-in-law, James Lee Reaves.

 She is survived by her Husband of 51 years – I.G. Giddens of Eastman; Daughter – Brandy Danielle Giddens of Tennessee; Son – Brian Giddens (Kasi) of Eastman; 5 Grandchildren – Katie Giddens (Joey Cravey), A.J. Giddens, Auzzie Dunn, Ayden Giddens, and Jae Carrigg; 6 Great-Grandchildren – Lila Sheffield, Jade Sheffield, Wyatt Cravey, Grace Cravey, William Allen, and Cameron Allen; Sister – Shirley Reaves of Sheffield, AL; Brother – Johnny Williams (Jeanne) of Bonaire; Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law – Wylene Pittman, J.W. Giddens (Aurelia), and George Giddens, all of Eastman; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the residence of Katie Giddens, 815 Albert Lampkin Road, Eastman, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel one hour before services on Friday, August 14. In addition to flowers the family requests contributions to Liberty Baptist Church, % Rev. Ronnie Jones, 2397 Hawkinsville Road, Eastman, GA 31023.
