MRS. JUDITH KAREN CADWELL WOODARD, age 77, of Chauncey, GA, died Sunday, June 1, 2025, at her residence.

 Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM, Tuesday, June 3, at Woodlawn Cemetery, with Rev. Mike Grenade officiating.

 Karen was born on January 17, 1948, in Eastman, GA, to the late Margie Juanita Williams Cadwell and David Charlton Cadwell. She was a member of New Union Baptist Church, a 1966 graduate of Dodge County High School, and attended Crandall Business School in Macon, GA. She married Danny Woodard in 1968 and was a loving mother of 2 children, Dan and Jennifer. Karen was an office clerk for the Dodge County Tax Commissioner, where she handled all duties, and was a dedicated employee for Dodge County for over 30 years. She was a wife of 51 years and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed taking care of her family, spending time at home talking to friends on the telephone and watching various programs on TV. She was affectionately known as “Mema” to her grandchildren. Along with her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her Husband, Daniel Hansel “Danny” Woodard, Sister, Kathy C. Hilliard, Brothers-in-law, John T. Woodard, Jr. and Rev. Lloyd Charles Robinson, and Nephew, Timothy Lloyd Robinson.

 She is survived by her Daughter – Jennifer W. Hardin (Dana) of Eastman, GA; Son – Dan Woodard (Michelle) of Eastman, GA; Grandchildren – Brittani W. Mullis, Blake Woodard, Dallas Hardin, Brooke W. Herrin, Dane Hardin, Kyle May, Cole Bronson, and Kennan Ray Bronson; Great-Grandchildren – Cammie Wright, Kaison Mullis, Chance Mullis, Remi Smith, and Colton May; Sisters – Carole C. White (Johnny) of Eastman, GA and Cynthia C. Sanders (Janney) of Toccoa, GA; Sisters-in-law and Brothers-in-law – Connie W. Robinson, Cheryl W. Walker (Henry), Brenda Woodard, all of Eastman, GA, and David Hilliard of McRae, GA; Numerous nieces and nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the Woodard residence, 4644 Chauncey-Dublin Hwy, Chauncey, GA 31011, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 9:30AM-10:30AM Tuesday, June 3. In addition to flowers, the family requests contributions to Hospice Care Options, 715 Legion Drive, Eastman, GA 31023.
