KALIE MARIE WRIGHT, age 40, of Eastman, GA, formerly of Vidalia, GA, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, January 27, at Eastman First Christian Church, with Rev. Michael Widener and Rev. Ricky Anderson officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Kalie was born in Eastman, GA on November 11, 1985. She was a 2003 graduate of Vidalia High School and attended Georgia Southern University where she studied for her degree in Education. She was a loving mother of 3 wonderful children, Ethan, Abbi, and Benjamin. She worked several jobs over the years, including as a substitute teacher for the Dodge County School System, which fulfilled a lifetime dream of being an educator. Kalie enjoyed reading novels, especially fiction novels, and also enjoyed watching the Hallmark movies, and her favorite TV show, “The Golden Girls”. She loved her children dearly and cherished spending time with them, which was very important to her. She taught them how to cook and many other life lessons to prepare them for life ahead.
She is survived by her 3 Children – Ethan Bryner of Dexter, Abbi Bryner, and Benjamin Bryner, both of Forsyth; Mother – Irene Smith York (Bert) of Hebron, KY; Father – Randall Wright (Cindy) of Eastman; Siblings – Ashley Conway (Michel) of Mt. Vernon, Matt Wright (Krystal) of Vidalia, Cole Wright of Eastman, Amber York (Fan) of San Fransico, CA, and Brian York of Hebron, KY; Several Nieces and Nephews; Aunts and Uncles – Theris Smith Mullis (Willard), Lynn Wright, both of Eastman, and Gerald Smith (Judy) of Greensburg, KY; Extended Family – Renata Brantley of Waycross, Brian Brantley, Brise Brantley, both of Columbus, Jim Chaney, and Chance Chaney, both of Eastman; Numerous Cousins and Friends.
The family may be contacted at the residence of Theris and Willard Mullis, 20 Cherry Rd., Eastman, GA, and will receive friends in Eastman First Christian Church from 1:00PM-2:00PM Tuesday, January 27.
