MRS. JULIE ANN McCRANIE GERMAN, age 60, of Eastman, GA, died Friday, February 16, 2024, surrounded by her family, whom she loved so dearly.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Monday, February 19, at Fairhaven Baptist Church, with Rev. Lewis Miller and Rev. Karen Cheek officiating, with interment in Fairhaven Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Julie was born in Hawkinsville, GA, a 1981 graduate of Dodge County High School, attended Fairhaven Baptist Church in her earlier years, and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. After high school, she worked several jobs, but found her passion as a special advocate for over fifteen years with Georgia CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children in foster care throughout the state. After leaving CASA, she worked for Horizons Family Services in Dublin, GA for a few years. Julie was a founding organizer and promoter for the “Daddy Daughter Dance”, which she has been a big supporter of for many years. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family, loved the Lord, was a former youth leader at Fairhaven Baptist Church. She loved reading and was passionate about helping others. Julie was preceded in death by her father, Eph Daniel “E.D.” McCranie.

 She is survived by her Husband – Lawrence Daniel “Dan” German of Eastman, GA; Son – Connor German of Eastman, GA; Step Son – Todd German (Kaitlyn) of Eastman, GA; Daughters in love – Shelby Woody (Angel Osuna) of Eastman, GA, Kayla Walker of Dublin, GA, and Juanita Garcia of Jessup, GA; Grandchildren – Emily Osuna, Ava Osuna, and Eva Osuna; Mother – Joyce Ledford McCranie of Eastman, GA; Sister – Lisa Coleman (Glen) of Eastman, GA; Brothers – Dan McCranie of Rhine, GA and Brad McCranie of Ohio; Nephews – Nicholas Hulette (Cheryl), Kaleb Hulette (Emily), and Noah Coleman (Sara); Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews – Makenna Hulette, Mason Hulette, Mathis Hulette, Kailin Hulette, Kale Hulette, Patrick Hulette, Easton Coleman, and Weston Coleman; Aunts and Uncles – June Dupree (Josie), Louise Holt, Patricia Jones (Emmett), Dottie Rogers (Larry), Grady McCranie, Chip McCranie (Ramona), Beth McCranie, and Bill Ledford (Montine); Numerous Cousins and Friends.

 The family may be contacted at the residence of Joyce McCranie, 79 Roddy Burnham Rd., Eastman, and will receive friends in Fairhaven Baptist Church from 10:00AM-11:00AM Monday, February 19.
