Juan Blue Gay, age 15, passed away on October 17, 2026, leaving behind a family who loves him beyond words and a world that will never be quite the same without him.
A date for a celebration of life service for Juan will be published in the upcoming days.
Though his time here was far too short, the life he lived and the love he gave will remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, and friend.
Juan will be remembered for his dry sense of humor, his love of soccer, and his quiet thoughtfulness. The memories made with him, the laughter he shared, and the love that surrounded him will forever be treasured by those fortunate enough to have been part of his life.
Fifteen years was not nearly enough time. There were still so many dreams to chase, memories to make, and milestones to celebrate. His family will carry his love with them every day, holding close the precious moments they shared and the bond that will never be broken.
Juan is lovingly remembered by his parents, Richard and Sandra Gay; his brothers, Wayne, Parker, Jackson, Javier, Jesus, and William Gay, and his sister, Josie Gay all of Eastman, Georgia.
He also leaves behind his grandparents, Richard and Janet Thomas of Blakely, Georgia, and Johnny and Lois Gay of Moultrie, Georgia; his nephews, Kyle, Ethan, and Brodi Gay; and his niece, Clover Gay. He will also be deeply missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other extended family members and loved ones.
Juan had 2 families that deeply loved him. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Susana Almanza, his sisters Abby Arredondo, Maria Morales (Antonio) all of Metter, Georgia and Selena Almanza (Carlos Santos) of Claxton, Georgia, his brother Hugo Morales of Arkansas, his nephew Lucas Morales and his niece Susana Morales, his grandmother Susana Arredondo of Metter, Georgia.
Though words cannot express the depth of this loss, one thing will always remain certain: Juan was deeply loved, he mattered more than words can say, and he will never be forgotten. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and the love his family holds for him will never fade.
Forever loved. Forever missed.
The family requests that you wear blue in honor of Juan.
