MRS. LILLIAN JOYCE WILLIAMS SPIRES, age 73, of Eastman, GA, died Friday, April 19, 2019 at her residence.

 Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Monday, April 22, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Dwaine Dunn officiating, with interment in Cottondale Cemetery.

 Mrs. Spires was born in Cadwell, a member of Greenlawn Baptist Church, and was a retired seamstress for over 30 years from C & J Manufacturing and Dowling Textile. She was a dedicated wife, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, who enjoyed spending time with her family, and she enjoyed shopping, singing, collecting sunflowers, church activities, yard sales, and listening to Conway Twitty and Alan Jackson. She was daughter of the late Leora Lillian Fordham Williams and Franklin Flornoey Williams and was preceded in death by 5 Siblings, Bennie Williams, Gladys Rogers, Verne Lee Jones, Clara Lewis, and Wylene Lamkin.

 Survivors: Husband of 35 years – Charles Jackson “Jack” Spires of Eastman; 2 Daughters – Cecila Simmons and Becky Oxley (Danny) both of Eastman; Son – Jeffery Parker of Eastman; 4 Step-Children – Tracy Spires (Wanda), Bobby Spires, Tommy Spires (Amanda) all of Eastman, and Ray Spires (Trendie) of Cochran; 22 Grandchildren – Dan Oxley, Adam Oxley, Macy Parker, Lacy Parker, Justin Parker, Dakota Parker, Nikki McCook, Chase Simmons, Tori Spires, Ashley Spires, T.J. Spires, Ian Spires, Joseph Spires, Tracy Spires, Daniel Spires, Barry Spires, Hailey Spires, Jessica Spires, Lymiah Spires, B.J. Spires, Casey Spires, and Kyle Spires; 21 Great-Grandchildren; Brother – Randall Williams (Lola) of Warrior, AL; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the Spires residence, 94 Author Woodard Lane, Eastman, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 2:00PM-3:00PM Monday, April 22.
