JIMMY LEE MULLIS, age 73, of Hawkinsville, GA, died Friday, August 28, 2020 at Houston County Medical Center in Warner Robins.
A private family celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Mullis was born in LaGrange, GA, was of the Baptist faith and a United States Army Veteran. He was a lifelong brick mason and was regarded as one of the best around. He prided himself on doing the best brick work for his customers. He enjoyed working of his old trucks, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Vaughn Mullis McDaniel and J.C. Mullis and a daughter-in-law, Shelia Patton Mullis.
He is survived by 2 Daughters – Joni Stewart (Michael) of Savannah and Jami Anderson (Brian) of Eastman; 2 Sons – Jimmy Lee Mullis, Jr. of Warner Robins and Jay Mullis of Hawkinsville; 11 Grandchildren – Jaitlyn Stewart, Michael Stewart, III, Morgan Black, Kaden Anderson, Landon Anderson, Rylyn Anderson, Jimmy Lee Mullis, III, Samantha Jo Mullis, Cassandra Leigh Mullis, Rylynn Belanger, and Mandy Neal; Several Great-Grandchildren; Great-Great-Grandson – Kegan Johnson; 2 Sisters – Alice Wimpey and Jewel Howell (Tony), both of Eastman; Brother – Homer Vaughn of Eastman; Several Nieces and Nephews; Friend – Nell Sullivan of Hawkinsville; Numerous Cousins and Friends.
