MR. JIMMY LEE BASS, age 61, of Eastman, GA, died Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at his residence.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3:30PM Thursday, January 4, at Lakeside Church, with Pastor Tyler Kirkley officiating.
Jimmy was born on May 17, 1962 and was a lifelong resident of Dodge County. He was of the Baptist Faith, attended Dodge County High School, and worked as a carpenter for many years. He enjoyed woodworking, painting, drawing, shooting pool, and fast cars. He was strong-willed and very determined to live life to the fullest. He was the son of the late Mary Agnes Peterson Wood and James Willie Bass and was preceded in death by his Brother, James Wyatt Bass.
He is survived by his Daughter – Britney Simpson of Perry, GA; Son – Devin Simpson of Canton, GA; Grandson – Caeden Simpson; Sisters – Cindy Bass Boone and Sandra Bass Milner, both of Eastman, GA; Brothers – Shawn Wood (April) of Dublin, GA and James “Bubba” Bass of Eastman, GA; Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, and Friends.
