Obituary for Jessie Lee Jet Brown

MR. JESSIE LEE “JET” BROWN, age 73, of Rhine, GA, passed away on September 13, 2025, at his residence.

 A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

 Jet was born in Avon Park, FL on April 19, 1952, to the late Ella Mae Smith Brown and Bill Brown. He was of the Christian Faith and worked for many years at Hercules, Inc. in Glynn County, GA before working for the Telfair County Road Department for several years. He later worked for John Paul Horton and Horton Farms for a few years. Jet enjoyed riding motorcycles, planting his vegetable garden every year, and loved riding horses, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family, especially his wife, “Bug”. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wife, Hazel “Bug” Brown, Step-Son, Tim Berry, Sister, Patsy Horton, Brother, Gene Brown, and Step-Sister, Joanna Brown.

 Jet is survived by his Sister-in-law – Patricia Hilliard; Nieces and Nephews – Christy Lanier (Aaron), Sissy Warner, Jesse Lee Horton, David Horton (Michelle), Wendy Brown, and Buck Brown (Susan); Many Great-Nieces and Nephews, and Numerous Friends.
