THOMAS JESSE HILLIARD, age 30, of Rhine, GA, died Tuesday, June 25, 2019 in Rhine, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, June 27, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, with Rev. Scott McDuffie, Rev. Ricky Gilmore, and Rev. Rusty Harper officiating, with interment in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.
Jesse was born in Macon, a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, a 2007 graduate of Dodge County High School, and a 2014 graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College with a degree in Diversified Agriculture. He worked for the Department of Agriculture for the last five years as an Agriculture Inspector and was a member of Three Rivers Chapter of the Georgia Cattleman’s Association. He enjoyed riding horses, working cattle and dogs, reading, cooking, and the outdoors. Jesse was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, T.F. “Red” Hilliard and Frances Barfield Hilliard.
Survivors: Parents – Mike and Sara Walker Hilliard of Rhine; Sister – Jaye Hilliard Brown (Dylan) of Chauncey; Maternal Grandparents – Cleslie and Donna Walker of Eastman; Aunts and Uncles – Debbie Hilliard of Rhine, Wendy Hilliard of Abbeville, Julie Hilliard Harrelson (Mike), Sherry Walker Holland (Bob), Patti Walker Branch (Phillip) all of Eastman, and Maurice Faircloth (Billy) of Cochran; Numerous Cousins and Friends.
The family may be contacted at the Hilliard residence, 545 2nd Street, Rhine, and will receive friends in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church from 12:00PM-2:00PM Thursday, June 27.
