Graveside Funeral Services will be held at Bowers Cemetery 11:00AM Wednesday, June 7, 2022, with Rev. Greg Lowery officiating.
Mr. Brown was born in Macon, a lifelong resident of Dodge County, and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Cadwell. Jerry was a 1964 graduate of Dodge County High School and attended Middle Georgia College. He served in the National Guard and the National Guard Reserves. He worked for several years at Reeves Brothers Cotton Mills in Eastman before working at Robins Air Force Base as an Electronics Foreman for many years. He was a loving father, brother, and uncle who enjoyed spending time and taking care of his mother before her passing in 2017. He also loved taking care of his canine companion, “Coco.” Jerry was the son of the late Minnie Pearl Oxley Brown and Edward Brown and was preceded in death by his sister, Grace Ellen Brown Thompson.
He is survived by his Daughter – Jennifer Brown Lee of Cadwell; 4 Brothers – Jimmy Lee Brown (Ethel), John “Junior” Brown (Bertie Faye), Gene Edward Brown (Betty), and William Derrell Brown (Sue), all of Eastman; Aunt – Polly Oxley of Gresston; 10 Nieces and Nephews – Richard Brown (Jeanette), Jeanine Hall (Matthias), Zelda Lee, Cathy Fennell (Jim), William Brown (Kimberly), Gail Sheffield (Lisa Miller), Ross Thompson, Eddie Thompson, David Brown (Jennifer), Tammy Elizalde (Steven); Numerous Great Nieces and Nephews and Great Great Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
