MRS. JEANETTE CADWELL ROSS, age 91, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, December 29, 2019 at her residence.

 Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Tuesday, December 31, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Dr. Billy Lee officiating, with interment in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Mrs. Ross was born in Garden City, FL before moving to Georgia in her childhood years where she resided in Dodge County for the rest of her life. She was a 1947 graduate of Chauncey High School and a dedicated church member of Friendship Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher for over 30 years and as a former Vacation Bible School director. Jeanette was a loving and kind mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed trips to the mountains, spending time with her family, gardening, cooking, birdwatching, crossword puzzles, and jigsaw puzzles. She was daughter of the late Leila Jones Cadwell and Dave Cadwell, widow of Derrell Ross, and was preceded in death by 2 Sons, David Ross and Joey Ross, Sister, Ivelyn Cadwell Evans, and 4 Brothers, Buddy Cadwell, Wilmer Cadwell, John Cadwell, and S.C. Cadwell.

 Survivors: 3 Daughters – Faye Ross Thompson (Larry) Linda Ross Lee (Johnny), and Christy Ross Hall all of Eastman; 4 Grandchildren – Todd Thompson (Angie), Kim Thompson Bailey (Bill) both of Eastman, Jonathan Lee (Katrina) of Warner Robins, and Lindsey Oliphant (Andrew) of Stockbridge; 11 Great-Grandchildren – Garsee Thompson, Luke Thompson, Autumn Bailey, David Bailey, Olivia Bailey, Madison Bailey, Brock Bailey, Aria Lee, McKenna Lee, Abby Oliphant, and J.J. Oliphant; Sister – Laverne Cadwell Jamieson of Eastman; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the residence of Larry and Faye Thompson, 821 Ross Stapleton Rd., Eastman, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 2:00PM-3:00PM Tuesday, December 31. In addition to flowers, the family request contributions to Friendship Baptist Church, P.O. Box 4434, Eastman, GA 31023.
