MRS. CATHY JEAN FISH MILLER, age 56, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, January 26, 2020 at her residence. 

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, January 28, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Dr. Jerry Peele and Mr. Reggie Sheffield officiating, with interment in Orphans Cemetery, with Rev. Daryl Summey officiating.

 Jean was born in Richmond, VA and moved to Eastman in 1968. She was a 1981 graduate of Dodge County High School, a member of Eastman First Baptist Church, and was a retired personnel technician for the Georgia Department of Corrections for over 26 years where she assisted at Telfair State Prison, Eastman YDC, and Dodge State Prison. Jean loved her church and was an active church worker where she served on the Children’s Committee, taught Wednesday night children’s Quest, and was a member of the New Horizons Sunday School Class. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her Father, Willard Eugene Fish, Daughter, Karly Shae Jackson, Sister, Glenda Lynn Fish, Niece, Mary Kate Ashley, Maternal Grandparents, John and Jennie Mason, and Paternal Grandparents, John and Eudelle Fish.

 Survivors: Husband of 19 years – Junior Miller of Eastman; Children – Josh Miller (Jaclyn) of Milledgeville, Jennifer Miller of Rentz, Jaylin Miller and Keira Miller both of Eastman; Granddaughter – Addi Miller of Rentz;  Mother - Margaret Mason Fish of Eastman;  Sister – Gayle Ashley (Ronald) of Eastman; Brother – Carlton Fish (Millie) of Eastman; Parents-in-law – Harris and Peggy Miller both of Eastman; Nieces and Nephew – Kerri Collins (Erik), Jamie Johnson (Michael), Missy Kitchens, Robbie Kitchens, Jade Goss, Megan Ashley; Numerous Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the Miller residence, 62 Fish Rd., Eastman, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00PM-8:00PM Monday, January 27. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to the Eastman First Baptist Church Building Fund, 5107 Oak Street, Eastman, GA 31023.
