MRS. JAVINE DAVIS SHEFFIELD, age 91, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, October 23, 2022, in Dodge County Hospital.

 Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery in Eastman, with Rev. Mike Grenade officiating.

 Mrs. Javine was born in the China Hill community of Telfair County in 1931 and was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Thomaston. She was a dedicated member of Zebulon Baptist Church and worked in retail sales for many years for several companies including Stuckey’s Candy Company, TG&Y, Wal-Mart, B.C. Moore’s Department Store, and CVS. She was a dedicated wife of 27 years and a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mrs. Sheffield enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and crafts. She loved spending time with her family and most recently with her friends in At Home Senior Living in Cochran where she lived for the past several months. She was the daughter of the late Fate Davis and Gertrude Smith Davis and was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Sheffield, son, Bobby Dewayne Sheffield, daughter, Lajoy Sheffield Willis, and a grandson, Lance Willis.

 She is survived by 2 Sons – Tommy Sheffield (Alma) of Montrose and Donald Sheffield (Jane) of Eastman; Daughter-in-law – Linda Mullis Sheffield of Eastman; Brother – William Robert “Bill” Davis of China Hill; 4 Grandchildren – Jennifer Cook (Vance) of Eastman, Justin Sheffield (Tonya) of Valparaiso, FL, Danielle O’Dillon (Matt) of Warwick and Michelle Hightower (Chris) of Eastman; 5 Great Grandchildren – Ethan Cook, Emma Cook, Landon Sheffield, Easton Sheffield, and Anna Kate Sheffield; Sisters-in-law and Brothers-in-law – Rossie and Carol Ray Giddens, Martha Rogers, Therell Cobb, Regina Sheffield and Denise Sheffield; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

 The family will receive friends in Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home from 9:30AM-10:30AM Tuesday October 25. In addition to flowers, the family requests contributions to Zebulon Baptist Church, 1252 Cochran Hwy., Eastman, GA 31023.
