MS. JANICE “JAN” REVEL, age 68, of Eastman, GA, died Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Bryant Healthcare and Rehab in Cochran, GA.

 Memorial services will be held at 1:00PM Saturday, August 15, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Randy Horne and Rev. Dwayne Burney officiating.

 Jan was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, a member of Cottondale Baptist Church, and a 1970 graduate of Dodge County High School where she excelled in softball and basketball. She was a former housekeeper for many years and worked at the Dodge County News for several years. She was a dedicated Mamaw who loved scrap booking, genealogy, watching movies, dancing, laughing, and her orange sherbet. Jan was the daughter of the late Lola Mae Roland Revel and Wilbur Revel.

 She is survived by her 3 Children – Jill Horne (Randy), Danny “Danny Boy” Kirkley (Tracy) both of Eastman, and Jami Revel (Adrian Jones) of Warner Robins; 5 Grandchildren – Jordan Graci Horne, Josh Horne, Justin Horne, Matt Horne, and Taylor Allison; 4 Great-Grandchildren – Zander, Gabriel, Brilee, and Reagan; Sister – Jacque R. Tripp of Eastman; Brother – Phil Revel (Beaty) of Fairfax, VA; 2 Brothers-in-law – Darrin “Tater” Kirkley of Eastman and Craig Kirkley of Jacksonville, FL; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces, Great-Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.

 The family may be contacted at the residence of Danny and Tracy Kirkley, 172 Roddy Hwy., Eastman. The family request for those who wish to contact the family at their residence, to please wear a mask.
