MR. SCOTTY JACK LOWERY, age 67, of Albany, GA, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at his residence.

 A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, February 8, at Milan City Cemetery, with Rev. Benny Moore officiating.

 Jack was born in Telfair County, GA on June 15, 1958, to the late Phoebe Beulah McLeod Lowery and Billie “Bill” Lowery. He was raised in Milan and later moved to South Carolina before moving to Albany, GA, where he resided for more than 30 years. He worked as the head of maintenance for Superior Creek Lodge in Albany. Jack loved watching football, NASCAR racing, and going on trips to the beach with the love of his life, his companion Cathy. He also enjoyed listening to country music, especially Alan Jackson, who was his favorite country artist. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his Companion of 30 years, Cathy Harden, Sister, Jimmie D. McCranie, and Brother, Timmy Lowery.

 He is survived by his Son – Scott Lowery (Cherish) of Milan; Grandson – Creed Lowery; Granddaughter – Miracle; Sisters – Billie Faye Scarborough (Lonnie) and Gloria Ussery (Jerry), both of Milan; Brother – Carl Lowery (Dena) of Milan; Nieces and Nephews – Scotty Lowery, Tonya L. Dugger, Mandie S. Newsom (Bobby), Heather L. Smoyer (Jason), Carl Lowery, Jr., and Phoebe Ussery; Numerous cousins and extended family members.

 The family may be contacted at the residence of Carl and Dena Lowery, 899 Milan-Helena Dirt Rd., Milan, GA, and will receive friends at the cemetery following the graveside service.
