MRS. HETTIE IRENE LOWERY PRUITT, age 94, of Eastman, GA, died Monday, July 6, 2020 at her residence.

 Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, July 9, at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, with Bishop Tim Lamb and Rev. Tim Hicks officiating.

 Mrs. Pruitt was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, a 1945 graduate of Hendrix High School, a former member of Solid Rock Church of God and a current member of Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was co-owner and operator of Pruitt’s Upholstery for over 50 years along with her husband. Mrs. Pruitt was a former floor supervisor for C & J Manufacturing for 6 years and in addition was a former employee for Stuckey’s Candy Company for several years. She was a dedicated wife for over 62 years, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her church, sewing, crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, and fishing. Irene was the daughter of the late Annie Pearl Powell Lowery and William P. Lowery, widow of E.B. “Buford” Pruitt, and was preceded in death by 5 Siblings, Pershing Lowery, Vanarre Lowery, Edward Lowery, Grady Lowery, and John T. Lowery.

 She is survived by her 3 Daughters – Patricia Hare (Cliff) of Jacksonville, FL, Delbra Collins (Stanley), and Wanda Graham (Michael) both of Eastman, GA; Son – Clyntis Pruitt (Su) of Perry, GA; 7 Grandchildren – Jeremy Pruitt (Laura), Ryan Hare (April), David Hare, Erik Collins (Kerri), Kurt Collins (Kaye), Joni Barton (Dylan), and Michael Lee Graham (Hailey); 15 Great-Grandchildren – Andrew Pruitt, Sarah Kate Pruitt, Seth Hare, Titus Hare, Brantley Hare, Elizabeth Hare, Jonah Collins, Anslee Collins, Hannah Collins, Kaylei Collins, Keaton Collins, Dylana Barton, Josey Barton, Ryder Graham, and Payton Graham; 2 Sisters – Jeanette Woodard of Iron City, GA and Austilla Erwin of Blairsville, GA; Brother – Walton Lowery (Betty) of Eastman, GA; Sister-in-law – Evangeline Lowery Callaway of Royston, GA; Several Nieces and Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the Pruitt residence, 123 W.P. Lowery Rd., Eastman. In addition to flowers, the family request contributions to Integrity Cares, Inc., 101A West Jackson Street, Dublin, GA 31021.
