MRS. IRENE HINSON FOSTER, age 79, of Eastman, GA, died Monday, May 3, 2021 at her residence.

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, May 6, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Myron Parkerson officiating, with interment in Giddens Harrell Cemetery.

 Irene was a born in Dublin, raised in Laurens County, and resided in Eastman for most of her life. She was of the holiness faith, a member of Solid Rock Church of God, and a homemaker. She worked for several years at Reeves Brothers as a textile worker and also worked at Rodenwear a few years. Irene was a dedicated and loving mother, who enjoyed working in her yard, gardening, watching T.V., sewing, fishing, and cooking for her family. She was the daughter of the late Mattie Lou Cannon Hinson and Hoke Hinson and was preceded in death by her Husband of 48 years, Harris Foster, Son, Daryl Foster, Sister, Ella Mae Peacock, Brother, John Hinson, Sr., and her Infant Twin Brother.

 She is survived by her Daughter – Sylvia Foster of Eastman; 2 Sons – Lyman Foster (Lyn) and Lyle Foster (Glenda) both of Eastman; 4 Grandchildren – Brad Hargrove, Matt Foster (Destiny), Caleb Foster, and Kody Foster (Paige); 5 Great-Grandchildren – Brice Foster, London Foster, Brantlee Foster, Hensley Rhae Foster and Axton Meeks; 4 Sisters – Mary Hart (Earl), Marie Fields, Margie Briley all of Dublin, and Mattie Harrell Burns (David) of Cochran; Brother – Ray Hinson of Dublin; Sister-in-law – Nannie Ophelia Hinson of Valdosta; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

 The family will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 1:00PM-2:00PM Thursday, May 6.
