MRS. INEZ YAWN YANCEY, age 88, of Rhine, GA, died Monday, April 13, 2020 at her residence.

 A private family graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 16, at Fair Haven Baptist Church Cemetery, with Mr. Gary Ryals and Mr. Tim Wilson officiating.

 Mrs. Inez was born in Milan, a 1949 graduate of Milan High School, a graduate of Georgia Alabama Business School in Macon, and a member of Fair Haven Baptist Church. After graduating from business school, she went to work for Williams Banking Company in Rhine for many years before moving on working as a bookkeeper for the Milan Cotton Gin. She later worked for Doyce Mullis at the Dodge County Probate Judges office, was a former office manager for McRae Manor Nursing Home and Middle Georgia Nursing Home, and worked for several years at the Georgia Probation Office in McRae. She was most notably known as being an owner and operator of Yancey Bus Line with her husband for over 30 years, and she traveled to every state in America with the exception of Alaska. She loved her family, her flowers, and the Yawn family. Inez was the daughter of the late JD Yawn and Lorene Kinchen Yawn and was preceded in death by her Husbands, Thomas Jack Yancey, Sr. and Oris Perry.

 She is survived by a Daughter – Alicia Wilson (Tim) of Ft. Valley; 2 Sons – Tommy Yancey (Carolyn) and Terry Yancey (Cecelia) both of Milan; 5 Grandchildren – Bailey Hart, Josie Yancey, Katie Beck (Brandon), Terry Jack Yancey (April), and Amanda Tompkins; 5 Great-Grandchildren – Kylie Hart, Cade Hart, Bryce Payne, Braelyn Payne, and Luke Tompkins; Brother – Ralph Yawn (Barbara) of Cochran; 2 Sisters-in-law – Mary Lois Yancey of Rhine and Martha Henrietta “Girlie” Anderson of McRae; Brother-in-law – Willard Yancey of Rhine; Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
