MR. HENRY JACK WAHL, age 88, of Chauncey, GA, died Saturday, December 28, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, December 31, at Sweet Home Baptist Church, with Dr. Donnie Sutton and Mr. Bobby Ryals officiating, with interment in Sweet Home Church Cemetery.
Jack was born in Dodge County on October 28, 1936. He was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church, and a retired civil service employee for Robins AFB for over 38 years. For the last 11 years at Robins AFB, he worked as a Provisioning Specialist. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and spending time with his family. Jack was the son of the late Lillian Bell Wahl and John Conrad Wahl and was preceded in death by his Wife, Sara Moore Wahl, Daughter, Janet Rogers, and Brother, John Conrad Wahl, Jr.
He is survived by his Wife – Connie Hurst Wahl of Chauncey, GA; Daughter – Ann W. Williams of Eastman, GA; Son – Brian Wahl (Marla) of Rincon, GA; Step-Children – Kimberly Beck Knuchel (Scott) of Acworth, GA, Joe Beck (Jennifer) of Greenville, SC, and Scott Beck of Perry, GA; Grandchildren – Jeremy Williams, Camden Wahl, Kristi Rogers, Kelli Jordan (Shane), Claire Knuchel, Haley Beck, Kyler Beck, Colby Beck, Kaden Beck, Brent Purvis, Kalob Purvis, Jarred Beck (Ashley), and Hannah Beck; Great-Grandchildren – Alaina Beck, Colton Beck, A.J. Beck, Cheyanne Williams, Jackson Pearce, Madeline Allen, Trinity Jordan (Jordan), Evan Jordan, and Dawson Jordan; Sisters – Doris Powell, Rita Moulton (Charles) and Betty Yawn (Joe), all of Chauncey, GA; Brother – Jerry Wahl (Shann) of Chauncey, GA; Several Nieces and Nephews.
The family may be contacted at the Wahl residence, 1165 Chauncey-Rhine Hwy., Chauncey, GA, and will receive friends in Sweet Home Baptist Church from 10:00AM-11:00AM Tuesday, December 31.
