MRS. HAZEL “DOODLE BUG” CAMPBELL BROWN, age 68, of Rhine, GA, died Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Dodge County Hospital.

 Graveside services will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, August 7, at Bay Springs Cemetery in Rhine, with Mr. Gary Ryals officiating.

 Hazel was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, of the Baptist Faith, and former owner and operator of Hazel’s Salon for many years. She was a former seamstress for Hanes, Inc. for several years and enjoyed crafts, needle point, and computer games. She was a dedicated wife and a loving sister. Hazel was the daughter of the late Alice Holland Campbell and Sam Campbell and was preceded in death by a Son, Tim Berry, and 5 Siblings, Mae Finch, Arthur Campbell, Charles Campbell, Jerry Campbell, and Hilda Campbell Furney.

 She is survived by her Husband – Jessie “Jet” Brown of Rhine; Sister – Patricia Hilliard (Junior) of Rhine; Sisters-in-law and Brothers-in-law – Ruby Campbell, Thomas Furney, Patsy Horton, and Gene Brown; Nieces and Nephews – Shirley Register (Benny), Sheryl Horne (Wesley), Tammy Vennel, Roy Conley (Susan), Patricia Ann Cuda, Pam Campbell Bowen, Peggy Campbell, Denise Hilliard Wood (Butch), Tammy Walker (Brian), Angie Campbell, Tracy Campbell, Jess Lee Horton, Tadpole Horton, David Horton, and Sissy Warner; Numerous Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews; A host of friends.

 The family may be contacted at the residence of Patricia and Junior Hilliard, 766 Old Jacksonville Hwy., Rhine, GA. Hazel will lie-in-state at Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home from 11:00AM-4:00PM Thursday, August 6.
