MR. HARRIS MILLER, SR., age 78, of Eastman, GA, died Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at his residence.

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, February 27, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Bill Jones and Rev. William Pope officiating, with interment in Lovely Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Harris was born in Dodge County, a member of the Chester Church of God, and was a truck driver for Reynolds Aluminum for over 20 years before trucking for himself for many years until his retirement. He was a faithful church member and a dedicated husband and father who enjoyed watching sports and was an avid bass fisherman. He was son of the late Mamie Miller Jones and was preceded in death by his Parents, Luther Miller and Annie Mullis Miller, Daughter-in-law, Jean Fish Miller, Granddaughter, Karly Shae Jackson, and Grandson, Harris Benjamin Clark.

 Survivors: Wife of 48 years – Peggy Wright Miller of Eastman; 3 Daughters – Angela Renee Kirkland (Michael), Lisa Renee Nobles both of Hawkinsville, and Lisa Ann Clark of Chester; 3 Sons – Harris Miller, Jr. of Eastman, Darrell Miller (Deana) of Cochran, and Joseph Wesley Stokes of Cadwell; 15 Grandchildren – Heather Pitts Bryan, Kyle Kirkland (Halana), Jeff Kirkland (Mandi), Brad Clark, Josh Miller (Jaclyn), Jennifer Miller, Jaylin Miller, Keira Miller, Alex Miller (Morgan), Nickolas Miller, Aidan Miller, Ansley Miller, Natalie Miller, Kristen Stokes Jordan (Brice), and Kaylea Stokes May (Caine); 11 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Sisters – Betty Jean Anderson (Dane) and Marsha Jones both of Abbeville; Brother – Bill Jones (Karen) of Milan; 3 Sisters-in-law – Jean Thomas (Kenneth), Patsy Brown both of Eastman, and Minnie Wright of Milan; 2 Brothers-in-law – James Scarborough and C.B. Branch both of Eastman; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the Miller residence, 2451 Airport Rd., Eastman, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 5:00PM-7:00PM Wednesday, February 26. In addition to flowers, the family request contributions to Chester Church of God, 320 Main Street, Chester, GA 31012.
