MRS. GERALDINE S. BARLOW, age 85, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, February 12, 2023, at McRae Manor Nursing Home in McRae, GA.

 Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, February 14, at Southerland Funeral Chapel in Eastman with Rev. Daniel Cook and Rev. Bill Jones officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.

 Mrs. Barlow was born in Eastman, GA and was a member of Lovely Grove Baptist Church. She was a lifelong resident of Dodge County and a graduate of Hendrix High School. She worked in textiles for many years as a pressing department supervisor at C & J Manufacturing in Eastman in the 1960s and 70s and later for a textile factory in Dexter, GA. She later retired as an assistant supervisor of food service for the State of Georgia Department of Corrections, working for Telfair, Milan, and Wilcox State Prisons for several years during the 1990s. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed taking care of her family. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, working word puzzles, and reading her Bible. Geraldine was the daughter of the late Chester Stufflebeam and Mary Ellen Burch Stufflebeam and was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Charles Barlow, two sisters, Elanor Rozar and Sandra Jackson and a niece, Jackie Owens.

 She is survived by her Daughter – Misty Barlow Selph (Ernest) of Milan, GA; 2 Sons – Phil Barlow (Jackie) and Chris Barlow (Sherry), both of Eastman; 7 Grandchildren – Heather Barlow Yawn (David) of Eastman, Michelle Barlow Hickman of Eastman, Phillip Barlow of Chauncey, Brittany Barlow (Josh Odom) of Graham, Taylor Barlow of Eastman, Tyler Yawn (Courtney) of Milan and Maryee-Grace Selph of Milan; 11 Great-Grandchildren – Dawson Yawn, Haylie Hickman, Hayden Barlow, Hope Miller, Harlie Hickman, Austin Lynn, Dustin Lynn, Justin Lynn, C.J. Odom, Jackson Odom, and Keely Wilkinson; Sister-in-law – Louise Barlow of Dunbar, MD; Brother-in-law – Wayne Jackson of Eastman; Several Nieces and Nephews including Joan Hartley (Roger) of McRae and George Muncher (Angie) of Eastman; Caregiver – Linda Tobler of McRae.

The family may be contacted at the residence of Chris and Sherry Barlow, 1839 WPA Road, Eastman, GA 31023, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 1:00PM-2:00PM Tuesday, February 14. In addition to flowers, contributions can be made to Lovely Grove Baptist Church, Lovely Grove Church Road, Eastman, GA 31023.
