MRS. GERALDINE SPINKS McCRANIE, age 83, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, September 10, 2023, at her residence.

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, September 13, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Mr. Bobby Ryals and Mr. Gary Ryals officiating, with interment in Fair Haven Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Geraldine was born in Rhine, GA, a member of Fair Haven Baptist Church, was a cheerleader and basketball player for Rhine Elementary, and a graduate of Dodge County High School, where she excelled at basketball. She later received her teaching certificate from the State of Georgia in the 1960s and worked as a paraprofessional for over thirty years for the Dodge County Board of Education. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, and canning. Geraldine was the daughter of the late Birder Hardeman Spinks and Harvey Spinks and was preceded in death by her Husband, Jack McCranie, Sisters, Rachel S. Clements and Betty Jean S. Harrell, and Brother, Rayford Spinks.

 She is survived by her 2 Daughters – Vickie Moore (Brian) and Tajuana Hames (Tommy) both of Eastman, GA; 2 Sons – Chuck McCranie of Chester, GA and Harvey McCranie (Tra) of Douglasville, GA; 4 Grandchildren – Seth Moore, Tori Moore Burch (Erwin), Amanda Hames, and Bailey Hames Allen, all of Eastman, GA; Sister – Annie S. Ashley of Jacksonville, FL; 8 Great-Grandchildren – Mikaela Angel, Layla Moore, Breanna Moore, Kaylynn Burch, Kaylie Burch, Luke Burch, Jaxon Burch, and Shawn Burch; Sisters-in-law and Brothers-in-law – Charles William “Bill” Clements, Grady McCranie, Joyce McCranie, Patricia Jones (Emmett), Dottie Rogers (Larry), Chip McCranie (Ramona), June Dupree (Josie), and Beth McCranie; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

 The family may be contacted at the McCranie residence, 1801 Jim Ross Rd., Eastman, GA, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00PM-8:00PM Tuesday, September 12.
