Obituary for George Walley

MR. GEORGE LOUIS WALLEY, age 61, of Eastman, GA, formerly of Clermont, FL, died Sunday, December 12, 2021, at his residence.

          Memorial services will be held at a later date.

          George was born in Patterson, NJ and raised in Bloomingdale, NJ. He was of the Catholic Faith, a graduate of Passaic County Technical Institute, where he was the starting center for the high school football team, was on the wrestling team, and the track team, where he excelled at the shot put and discus. After high school, he married in 1983 and went to work at the water treatment plant in Passaic County and later retired from the Polk County, FL Board of County Commissioners as an electrician for the Wastewater Department. In 1988, his daughter was born and brought much joy to his life. He later moved to Winter Haven, FL in 1997 where he coached middle school youth football players at the youth organization. He coached football for over 25 years. George later moved to Eastman in 2021. He was an avid football fan and was passionate about the New York Giants. He enjoyed working on his computer, helping others, watching football and attending games, and making new friends. He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Antoniette Andriulli Walley and George H Walley.

          He is survived by his Wife – Sherry Carabello Walley of Clermont, FL; Daughter – Petrina Sara Walley of Clermont, FL; Sister – Linda Bryant (Ronald) of Salisbury, NC; Uncle – John Andriulli of Knoxville, TN; Several Nieces, Nephews, and Numerous Cousins and Friends.
