MR. HOKE FRANKLIN “FRANK” HARRELL, age 74, of Hawkinsville, GA, died Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Taylor Regional Hospital.

 Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Thursday, October 28, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, Rev. Todd Crosby officiating, with interment in Cottondale Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Frank was born in Douglas, GA and of the Baptist Faith. When he turned 18, he joined the U.S. Navy and retired after 24 years of faithful service to his country with the rank of Hull Technician Chief. During his service he traveled to many places and had many adventures. He and his wife also bred and raised Poodles and Pomeranian dogs for many years, attended numerous dog shows, and won numerous awards over the years. Frank was a dedicated husband and a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, puzzles, games, crafts, and spending time with his wife and family. He was the son of the late Mattie Pearl Harrell and Hoke Harrell, and was preceded in death by a Sister, Mary Harrell Johnson, Brother, Bobby Ray Harrell, and a Niece, Amber Nicole Garner.

 He is survived by his Wife of 26 years – Mary Lou Shaffer Harrell of Hawkinsville; Daughter – Teresa Galoppa (Tim) of Macon; 2 Sons – Gary Harrell (Susan) of Norfolk, VA and James Harrell (Roxanne) of Cochran; 6 Grandchildren – Ashley Harrell, Gary Harrell, Jr., Autumn Harrell, Christina Metz, Angelica Galoppa, and Anthony Galoppa; Several Great-Grandchildren; Sister – Carolyn Smith of Cochran; Brother – Ralph Harrell (Paula) of Hendersonville, NC; Several Nieces and Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the Harrell residence, 33 Hill Bright Street, Hawkinsville, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 2:00PM-3:00PM Thursday, October 28.
