MRS. ANNIE FRANCES SAUNDERS MULLIS, age 86, of Eastman, GA, died Saturday, April 1, 2023, at her residence.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, April 4, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Trey Benton and Rev. Mike Grenade officiating, with interment in New Union Cemetery.

 Frances was a lifelong resident of Dodge County and a member of New Union Baptist Church, where she served as the church pianist and Sunday School teacher for many years. She was a former Stuckey Store employee, where she worked with her husband and was a homemaker. She adored her family and enjoyed spending time with her family and church family. She was proud of her grandchildren and great-grands and was looking forward to meeting her 1 great-great-grandson, Lance, who is due in June. Frances had the gift of gab. She loved talking to people and never met a stranger and it made her happy to lift other’s spirits. Frances was the daughter of the late Hazel Sanders Saunders and Lester L. Saunders and was preceded in death by her Husband, Bryce Mullis, and 2 Brothers, Bennett Saunders, and Gene Saunders.

 She is survived by her 2 Daughters – Joanne Kirkley (Kelvin) and Sheila Deloach (Donnie), both of Eastman; 11 Grandchildren – Stacey Yancey (Kevin), Rodney King (Katrina), Shelly Butler (Justin), Ethan Graham (Payton), Donnie Deloach, Jr., Melissa Funk (Keith), Donna Deloach, Ashley Deloach, Katie Deloach, Sonja Hamilton (Brian), and Mandy Singletary (Brad); 24 Great-Grandchildren – Courtney Warren (Dylan), Deanna Yancey, Wyatt King, Dawson Butler, Bryson Butler, Jameson Butler, Fisher Graham, Donnie Deloach, III, Ashlynn Deloach, Jace Deloach, Jacob Deloach, Brandon Funk, Brody Funk, Jayden Winston, Violet Deloach, Dylan Hall, Jay Hamilton, Luke Hamilton, Caleb Singletary, Jake Singletary, Grace Singletary, Ryan Wright, Gracie Thompson (Andrew), and Megan Wright; Great-Great-Grandchildren – Tinlee Warren, Parker Warren, Winona Thompson, and 2 great-great-grandsons on the way, Lance and Maverick; Sister – Faye S. Grenade of Eastman; Brother – Paul Saunders (Polly) of Lebanon, TN; Sisters-in-law – Nita Mullis of Eastman and Doretha Mullis of Jesup; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the Mullis residence, 50 Shady Lane, Eastman, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 10:00AM-11:00AM Tuesday, April 4. In addition to flowers, the family request contributions to New Union Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 4335, Eastman, GA 31023.
