MRS. SARAH FAYE JUMP YAWN, age 83, of Eastman, GA, died Monday, April 6, 2020 at her residence.

 A private family graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 9, at Woodlawn Cemetery, with Rev. Ronnie Jones officiating.

 Faye was a lifelong resident of Eastman, a graduate of Dodge County High School, a member, former secretary, treasurer, and Sunday School teacher for Central Baptist Church, and a retired office manager for Eastman First Baptist Church. She was a devout Christian woman who read her bible daily. She loved her family dearly, was an excellent cook, and enjoyed reading and spending time with her cat Boots. Faye was the daughter of the late Bessie Alma Clements Jump and Emmett Jump and was preceded in death by her Husband of over 50 years, Jack Yawn and a Brother, Roy Jump.

 She is survived by her Daughter – Debra Proffitt (Kenneth) of Eastman; Son – Tony Yawn (Marie) of Eastman; 4 Grandchildren – Jody Batts (Nina) of Jasper, Sandy Boutwell (Diane), Courtney Curtis (Dustin), and Chandler Proffitt Kelly all of Cochran; 13 Great-Grandchildren – Katie Lyn Batts, Jackson Batts, Case Batts, Blake Wynn (Dena), Mya Boutwell, Kasen Curtis, Kaleb Curtis, Darby Phillips, Noah Phillips, Piper Phillips, Cooper Curtis, Deja Proffitt, and Logan Kelly; 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren – Sophia Wynn and Madeline Wynn; 3 Sisters-in-law – Frances Jump, Frankie Yawn both of Brunswick, and Shirley Yawn of Florida; Several Nieces and Nephews.

 In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to Antioch #1 Baptist Church, 3233 Antioch Church Rd., Eastman and Liberty Baptist Church, 1100 Chester Hwy., Eastman.
