MRS. ELLEN WALKER BURCH PHAGAN, age 91, of Eastman, GA, died July 13, 2020 at her residence.

 Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, July 15 at Burch Family Cemetery in Cedar Grove, with Rev. Andy Brownley and Rev. Michael Hammond officiating.

 Ellen was a native of Wrightsville, GA, a member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church, and a retired assembly parts supervisor and purchasing agent for Roper Yard Products for over 23 years. She was a J.C. Penny sales associated for 5 years and a former employee of Sunbeam Products for over 5 years. She was a former PTA leader at West Laurens School and a former 4-H leader for many years. Ellen was a dedicated wife and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed fishing, gardening, tending her flowers, and cooking for her family and friends. She was daughter of the late Callie Mae Sumner Walker and Luther Joseph Walker, widow of Joseph Lewis Burch, and was preceded in death by a Daughter, Sarah Burch Pezold, an Infant Daughter, and 12 Siblings, Harris Walker, Carl Walker, Frank Walker, Paul Walker, Alton Walker, Emory Walker, Gary Walker, Jay Walker, Louise Kinsey, Elizabeth “Boots” Currie, Hazel Brooks and Dorothy “Dot” Clark.

 Survivors: Husband of 23 years – Dewitt C. Phagan of Eastman; Daughter – Rebecca Moore (Ollie B.) of Alamo, GA; Son – Joe Burch (Sandra) of Alamo, GA; Son-in-law – Tom Pezold of Eastman; 7 Grandchildren – Mindy Evans (Paige Pittman), Jennifer Campbell (Robert), Chad Burch, Ashley Burch, Dana Moore, Susan Moore, and Jeffery Moore (Rachael); 4 Great-Grandchildren – C.J. Burch, Savannah Burch, Madison Moore, and Makenzie Moore; Several Step-Grandchildren and Step-Great-Grandchildren; Sister – Lorraine Jones (Earnest) of Danville; Sisters-in-law and Brothers-in-law – Jo Walker, Ouida Walker, Pat Stephens (David), George W. Payne (Sue), Mary Payne, and Elizabeth Payne; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the residence of Tom Pezold, 1352 Hawkinsville Hwy., Eastman. Honorary pallbearers are Edward Walker, Brad Smith, Joey Amerson, Rodney Brooks, Tony Brooks, Ron Brooks, and Scott Lafavor.
