MRS. ELLEN MARIE PICKETT McCOOK, age 78, of Eastman, GA, died Thursday, November 4, 2021, at the Dodge County Hospital.

 A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00PM Sunday, November 7, in Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Lewis Harrell officiating.

 Ellen was born in Kerrville, TX, a graduate of Bainbridge High School, and a former nursing assistant for Healthmasters, Inc. for many years. She was also a former Southern Bell telephone operator, a former employee for the Department of Family and Children Services, a past president of the American Legion Post 126, and a member of Ocmulgee Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and nana to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She went to be with her Lord two days shy of her 79th birthday. Ellen was the daughter of the late Ellen Benham Pickett and Lee Edgar Pickett, Jr. and was preceded in death by her Sister, Eupha Reigle.

 She is survived by her Daughter – Sylvia M. Turner (Jeffrey) of Eastman; 2 Sons – Bobby L. McCook (Julie) of Fort Valley and Michael McCook of Eastman; Former Husband – Bobby McCook, Sr. of Eastman; 5 Grandchildren – Kyle Turner (Millie), Walt Turner, Nikki McCook, Halston Quick (Tanya), and Ryan Quick (Krista); 6 Great-Grandchildren – Jordan Bass, Jaydan McCook, Jayse Turner, Hayden Quick, Kingston Quick, and Oakland Quick; Sister – Mary Sue Yarborough (John) of Sandia, TX; Brother – Fineus Lee Pickett of Cibola, AZ; Brother-in-law – John Reigle of Fort Worth, TX; Several Nieces and Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the residence of Kyle and Millie Turner, 443 Bell Line Rd., Eastman, and will receive friends on Saturday, November 6 from 4:00PM-6:00PM at the residence of Kyle and Miller Turner. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested for donations to be made to the American Legion Post 126 or the American Legion Auxiliary.
