Obituary for Elaine Davis

MRS. MARY ELAINE DAVIS, age 62, of Eastman, GA, died Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Wellstar MCG Health in Augusta, GA.

 A memorial visitation drop in will be held from 12:00PM-4:00PM Saturday, March 30, at the residence of Kyle and Krystal Davis, 511 Morris Barlow, Rd., Eastman, GA.

 Elaine was born in Little Rock, AR and was raised in Eastman, GA. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, a graduate of Dodge County High School, and was a retired civil service employee at Robins Air Force Base for 25 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who was affectionately known as “Nana” to her granddaughters Kalli and Kelsi, whom she loved and adored. They were her world. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed watching TV and spending time with her caretaker, Lisa Harris. Elaine was the daughter of the late Mary Kathleen Giddens Davis and Maud L. “M.L.” Davis, and was preceded in death by her Brothers, Jimmy Giddens, Melvin Davis, and Marvin Davis.

 She is survived by her Son – Kyle Davis (Krystal) of Eastman, GA; Granddaughters – Kalli Davis and Kelsi Davis; Step-Son – Cody Westbrook of Eastman, GA; Step-Daughter – Jill Filichia of Eastman, GA; Sister-in-law – Janean Giddens of Eastman, GA; Nephews – Jason Platt (Heather) and James Platt; Aunt and Uncle – Grace Giddens and Barry Glass; Several Great Nieces and Nephews; Numerous extended family members and friends.

 In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Eastman Dodge County Council on Aging 5425 Oak Street, Eastman, GA 31023.
