MR. EDWARD WILLIAM SINGLETARY, age 74, of Eastman, GA, died Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the Medical Center Navicent Health in Macon, GA.

 Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Friday, May 28, at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Mike Grenade officiating and military honors.

 Ed was born and raised in Dodge County, of the Baptist Faith, a graduate of Dodge County High School, and a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army. After faithfully serving his country, he returned to Dodge County to raise his family and worked for many years as an electronics engineer for Robins AFB. Ed worked for many years, after his retirement from Robins AFB, building utility trailers and enjoyed farming and riding his tractor, but above all he lived for his family. He was the son of the late Ruth Dykes Singletary and William O. “Bud” Singletary and was preceded in death by a Daughter, Tammy Danielle Singletary and Infant Son, William Edward Singletary.

 He is survived by his 2 Sons – Daniel “Danny” Singletary (Judy) and Walter Singletary both of Eastman; 5 Grandchildren – Jessie Meadows (Carter), Dustin Daniel Singletary (Rachel), William Gage “Bud” Singletary, Marissa Singletary, and Maria Singletary; 3 Great-Grandchildren – Emma Grace Singletary, Carter Lee Meadows, IV, and Jack Ray Meadows; Sister – Ann S. Rawls of Macon; Several Nieces and Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the residence of Danny and Judy Singletary, 957 Soperton Hwy., Eastman, and will receive friends in Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home from 2:00PM-4:00PM Thursday, May 27.
