MR. EARL GORDON WILLIAMS, age 69, of Hawkinsville, GA, died Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

 Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Saturday, October 16, at Broad Street Baptist Church in Hawkinsville, with Rev. Jeff Waters and Rev. Blake Westbrook officiating, with interment in Sweet Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Chauncey.

 Mr. Williams was born in Eastman, raised in Milan and was a 1971 graduate of Telfair County High School. After graduating high school, he worked for Ross Smith Pecan Company in McRae for over ten years and later for Armstrong Cork Company in Macon. He was a retired civil service employee at Robins Air Force Base, where he worked for over 22 years. Earl was also a Black Angus cattle farmer and owner and operator of Williams Golden Forty cattle farm. He resided in Hawkinsville since 1988 and was a member of Broad Street Baptist Church. Mr. Williams was a dedicated husband and a loving father who enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved beach vacations surrounded by his children and grandchilden. He was always ready to serve and help others in need and would give you the shirt off his back. He was a faithful and loyal friend to those who knew him. His favorite past times were hunting, fishing, working with his cows, and antique junking with Jim. He was the son of the late Alton Morris Williams and Sarah Corene Williams and was preceded in death by 5 siblings, Morris Dwayne Williams, Steve Williams, Patricia Staples, Vickie Johnson, and Gloria Williams.

 He is survived by his wife of 50 years – Jane Dollie Ross Williams of Hawkinsville; Son – Morris Williams (Wendy) of Chauncey; 3 Daughters – Dawn Warren (Daniel) of Rensselaer, IN, Michelle Repolles (Anselmo) of Montgomery, AL, and Allison Young (Kent) of Perry; 10 Grandchildren – A.J. Williams, Alston Williams, Emily Warren, Josiah Warren, Sarahlyn Warren, Dawson Repolles, Caiden Repolles, Liam Young, Ellie Young, and Reid Young; 2 Sisters – Peggy Selph (Warren) of Milan and Cynthia Smith (Chris) of Dexter; Brother – Dwight Williams (Melinda) of Milan; Sister-in-law – Sarah Ross of Social Circle; 1 Brother-in-law – Thad Staples of Milan; Numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the Williams residence, 861 Perry Hwy, Hawkinsville, GA 31036 and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00PM-8:00PM Friday, October 15. In addition to flowers, the family request contributions to Broad Street Baptist Church, 285 Broad Street, Hawkinsville, GA 31036.
