MR. DOYLE WALLACE JOHNSON, SR., age 69, of Chester, GA, died Sunday, June 2, 2019 at his residence.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, June 4, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Arnold Rye officiating, with interment in Pleasant Olive Cemetery in Chester.

 Doyle was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, a member of Chester Baptist Church, and a lifelong farmer who was employed by Sanders Farms and formerly Doyle Holt Farms. He was a volunteer fireman and first responder for the Chester Volunteer Fire Department, an avid Atlanta Braves fan, and a hardworking and true family man who enjoyed riding his four wheeler and was affectionately known by his family and friends as Speedy and Gomer. He was son of the late Noella Brady Johnson and Bert J. Johnson and was preceded in death by a Sister, Betty White and 3 Brothers, Earl Johnson, Raymond Wade Johnson, Sr., and Robert Charles Johnson.

 Survivors: Wife of 45 years – Debra Diane Paul Johnson of Chester; Daughter – Dana “Rat” Allen (Kevin) of Chester; Son – Doyle Wallace Johnson, Jr. (Stephanie Register) of Chester; 6 Grandchildren – Delilah Allen, K.J. Allen, Kaiden “Baby K” Allen, Kaleb “Peanut” Allen, Erika Register, and Derek Register; Great-Grandson – Hudson Register; 4 Sisters – Susie Coley (Danny), Joean Johnson both of Chester, Joan Evans (Ray), and Imagine Evans (David) both of Rentz; 4 Brothers – Lynn Johnson, Bobby Johnson (Betty) both of Chester, Larry Johnson (Faye) of Hawkinsville, and Ronnie Johnson (Marie) of Eastman; 2 Sisters-in-Law – Jean Mosley (Gene) of Dublin and Cindy Nobles (Emory) of Cochran; Brother-in-Law – Larry Paul (Jessica) of Chester; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the Johnson residence, 2665 Middle Ground Church Rd., Chester., and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00PM-8:00PM Monday, June 3.
