MRS. DOROTHY JEAN WASSAM REGISTER, age 90, of Eastman, GA, died Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, GA.

 Graveside services will be held at 3:00PM Tuesday, October 27, at Woodlawn Cemetery, with Dr. Al Daniell and Mr. Reggie Sheffield officiating.

 Dorothy was born in Painesville, OH, of the Christian Faith, and a homemaker. She worked as a waitress in West Palm Beach, FL and as a factory worker for several years in Wabash, IN. She was a faithful wife, a devoted mother, and an outstanding grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family dearly. She was a generous, kind, and giving person who took care of her home, and enjoyed tending her yard and flowers, and watching television, especially QVC. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Margaret Palinkas Wassam and Guy Wassam, widow of James A. Register, and was preceded in death by a Daughter, Donna Hornaday, Grandsons, James Register and Bruce Register, and Sister, Lillian Ross.

 She is survived by her Son – Rod Register (D’Ann) of Eastman; 4 Daughters – Linda Register of Clearwater, FL, Diane Register of Indiana, Lori Taylor (Clarence) of Eastman, and Denise Register (Steve Simmons) of Dublin; 9 Grandchildren – Kara Register, Zachary Register, Candice Taylor, Calla Taylor Saenz (Zack), Caitlin Taylor Hubble (David), Spencer White (Brittany), Chelsea Bush (Josh Bryan), Jennie Rae Register McCranie (William), and Leah Register Roland (Dylan); 5 Great-Grandchildren – Ethan Saenz, Haileigh White, McKenzie White, Christopher White, and Lily Love; Brother-in-law – Roger Hornaday of LaFontaine, IN; Several Nieces and Nephews; Faithful Canine Companion – Little Bit.
