MRS. DONNA ELAINE JUMP BURCH, age 64, of Eastman, GA, died Monday, April 22, 2024, at Dodge County Hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, April 24, at Woodlawn Cemetery, with Rev. Gerald Conley officiating.
Donna was born in Telfair County, GA, a member of The River Church in Eastman, GA, and a graduate of Dodge County High School. She worked for Wal-Mart, Inc. for many years before later working as a caregiver for Heart of Georgia Community Action. She later became a private caregiver, which she did for many years. Donna loved the beach and caring for animals, especially her beloved dog, Max. She was preceded in death by her Father, Donald Jump, Maternal Grandparents, Marvin and Mary Lowery Maddox, and Paternal Grandparents, Tom Dick and Marguerite Peacock Jump and Mother-in-Law- Rachel Holmes.
She is survived by her Husband – Chris Burch of Eastman; GA; Daughter – Kasey Rogers of Eastman, GA; Granddaughter – Cherish Moses of Eastman, GA; Mother – Mary Ann Maddox Jump of Eastman, GA; Sisters – Patricia J. Williams (Randy) and Kathy J. Mullis (Glenn), both of Eastman, GA; Numerous Nieces and Nephews; Numerous Great-Nieces, Great-Nephews, Cousins, and Friends; Father-in-law – Lawton Holmes of Eastman, GA; Uncle – Tom Strickland; Her faithful canine companion – Max. Special thanks to caregiver, Amber Hinson and special cousin, Debra Proffitt.
The family may be contacted at the Burch residence, 344 Dublin Hwy., Eastman, GA, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 9:30AM-10:30AM Wednesday, April 24.
