MRS. DONNA LEE BARNETT WALKER, age 87, of Eastman, GA, died Friday, November 6, 2020 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville.

 Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Monday, November 9, at Woodlawn Cemetery, with Rev. Patrick Barnett and Rev. Lewis Miller officiating.

 Donna was a lifelong resident of Dodge County a member of Grace Baptist Church, a 1950 graduate of Eastman High School, and a 1951 graduate of Eastman School of Commerce. She was co-owner and operator of 3rd Avenue Dress Shop for over 5 years, Walker Shoe Store for over 12 years, a former councilor at Milan State Women’s Prison for over 6 years, and a former vice president of Citizens Bank and Trust Company. She was a dedicated wife, a loving mother and grandmother, and enjoyed keeping and spending time with her grandchildren, who was affectionately referred to her as “Ma Donna” and “Granny”. Donna was the daughter of the late Jo Annie Mullis Barnett Moore and Rema Lou Barnett, widow of Cleslie Walker, and was preceded in death by a Grandson, Jesse Hilliard, Sister, Annie Lou Barnett Jessup, and 4 Brothers, Albert Barnett, Rudolph Barnett, J.C. Barnett, and Grady R. Barnett.

 She is survived by her 4 Daughters – Maurice Faircloth (Billy) of Cochran, Sara Hilliard (Mike) of Rhine, Sherri Holland (Bob), and Patti Branch (Phillip) both of Eastman; Special Son – Joseph Carey Barnett (Robin) of Atlanta; 7 Grandchildren – Trey Faircloth (Lisa), Ross Faircloth (Samantha), Jaye Hilliard Brown (Dylan), Rhett Walker (Glynda), Eric Walker (Dana), Clint Pinnell, and Craig Pinnell (Leigh Sherman); 11 Great-Grandchildren – Luke Walker, Georgia Shae Walker, Mary Blaire Pinnell, Will Faircloth, Grace Faircloth, Ruth Faircloth, Alexis Tomberlin, Kadee Walker, Ella Walker, Ezra Faircloth, and Brody Faircloth; Sister-in-law – Marilyn Bryant Barnett of Eastman; Several Nieces and Nephews.

 Mrs. Walker will lie-in-state from 1:00PM-4:00PM Sunday, November 8, at Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to Grace Baptist Church, 511 Hawkinsville Hwy, Eastman, GA 31023.
