MRS. MINNIE DOLORES NOLES DENNIS, age 95, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, July 31, 2022, at her residence.

 Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, August 2, at New Union Cemetery, with Rev. Jack Lee and Chaplin Doug Stevens officiating.

 Mrs. Dennis was born and raised in Eastman, GA and was a faithful member of Eastman First Baptist Church and the Sallie Bacon Sunday School class. She was a graduate of Eastman High School and attended Middle Georgia College. She married in 1945 and they moved to Atlanta where she worked a “Rosie the Riveter” job on aircraft during the World War II Era before returning to Eastman and beginning her family with the birth of her first of three children in 1946. She was a telephone operator early in her career and later worked in retail clothing sales at Johns Smart Shop for many years before opening her own clothing shop, Dolores’ Dress Shop in 1981, where she sold clothes to many ladies over the years. Dolores later worked with her son Gene at Dennis Drugs and later for Karen Cheek, who bought the business. She continued to work at the drug store until retiring in 2000. She was a dedicated wife, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, and loved family gatherings. Dolores was the daughter of the late Inez Lewis Noles and Joel Henry Noles, and was preceded in death by her Husband, Jahugh Columbus Dennis, Son, Robert Wayne Dennis, and 2 Brothers, J.C. Noles and Lewis Noles.

 She is survived by her Daughter – Ann Faircloth of Eastman; Son – Gene Dennis (Mimi) of Eastman; 5 Grandchildren – Jay Faircloth of Chester, Jena Haralson (Mike) of Eastman, Marcie Jones (Jamie) of Milan, Tasha Evans of Cochran, and Shawn Dennis of Perry; 12 Great-Grandchildren – Sydney Pinder Robertson (Kole), Jordan Pinder, Jacob Pinder, Jesse Pinder, Annie Jones, Kate Jones, Cam Jones, Tanner Sabia, Hayden Evans, Haylee Evans, Holden Evans, and Noah Dennis; Great-Great-Grandson – Kade Robertson; Several Nieces and Nephews; Extended Family Members – Eve and Rodney Harrell, Evan Harrell, Andrew Harrell, and Reece Harrell; Beloved Granddog – Ali.

 The family may be contacted at the residence of Gene and Mimi Dennis residence 5314 Forest Lake Road, Eastman. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to the Derek Johns Philippines Mission Fund, % Magnolia State Bank, or the Eastman First Baptist Church Building Fund, 5107 Oak Street, Eastman, GA 31023.
