MRS. DOLORES WHITE CLEMENTS, age 94, of Eastman, GA, died Saturday, February 3, 2024, at South Georgia Medical Center, in Valdosta, GA.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, February 7, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Mike Grenade, Rev. Dr. Stephen White, Dr. Donnie Sutton, and Rev. Al Acosta officiating, with interment in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00PM-8:00PM Tuesday, February 6, at Southerland Funeral Chapel.

Dolores was a graduate of Old Dodge High School and Miss McRae School of Business of Eastman, GA. She was employed at Ocmulgee EMC for 30 years and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She and her husband, Aubrey, enjoyed 57 years together.

 Her husband, James Aubrey Clements, parents, Julie Mae and Marshall White of Gresston, four brothers: Talmadge, Escol, Aubrey and Marshall Jr. (Buddy) White, and one sister: Ann Stanley all preceded her in death.

 Dolores enjoyed working in the yard, volunteering with her husband at the Christian Life Center, Meals on Wheels, Disaster Relief to Charleston, S.C. and Warsaw, N.C, as first responders assisting to prepare food for those who had lost everything and sometimes helping with cleanup caused by hurricanes or floods. They went to Jamaica with Dr. Peoples’ group. For the Ben Glasson Ministries, she made over 1400 Christmas stockings (thanks to the Christian Life Center for furnishing the fabric). She Loved her family clearly, especially her son, who chose to retire early to care for his mother.

 Survivors include: her Son, Jimmy Clements, Three Grandchildren: Evan Clements (Katie) of Columbia, S.C., Johanna Munford (Jarrett) of Church Road, VA, and Greta Bishop (Ryan) of Valdosta, GA, Eight Great-Grandchildren: Everett, Aubrey and Evva Clements, Hayden and Tanner Munford, and Olivia, Josiah and Marshall Bishop. Eight Nieces: Peggy White, Glenda Grant, Joan Tripp (Jimmy), Merle Collins (Sam), Debra Williams (Edward), Marie Carr (Clifton), Terry Evans (Ed) and Karen Stevens. Four Nephews: Johnny White (Carol), Scott White (Treasa), Robbie White (Christy) and Marty Brack (Lynn). And sister-in-law Sarah White.

 Pallbearers for the service are Johnny White, Scott White, Jimmy Tripp, Edward Williams, and Ed Evans (who represented each of Dolores’ Siblings), as well as Rev. Sam Collins, Jarrett Munford and Ryan Bishop.
