PATRICIA DIANE DAVIS HOPWOOD, age 60, of Eastman, GA, died Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Coliseum Medical Center in Macon, GA.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, March 4, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Myron Parkerson and Rev. Ricky Gilmore officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.

 Diane was a lifelong resident of Dodge County and was raised in the Plainfield Community. After high school she worked as a homemaker and raised her two sons. She worked for several businesses over the years including, Standard Candy Company, Lithonia Lighting Company, Nu-Way Wieners, Heart of Georgia and Middle Georgia Nursing Homes, Dowling Textile Company for over 12 years, and Fred’s Discount Store. She was a member of Freedom Worship Center, a member of her family singing group The Praise Singers, and enjoyed fishing, dancing, singing, crafts, dirt track racing, riding with her son Joey on his motorcycle, and most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren. Diane was the daughter of the late Ann Thompson Williams and Hammond Davis and was preceded in death by her Step-Father, Jack Williams, and Sister, Brenda Davis Peacock.

 She is survived by her Husband of 18 years – Michael R. “Mike” Hopwood of Eastman; 2 Sons – T.J. Cravey (Angie) and Joey Cravey (Katie) both of Eastman; Step-Daughter – Michelle Stone (Ken) of Midland, TX; 19 Grandchildren – Morgan Cravey (K.K.), Nichole Cravey (Dalton), Junior Coogler, Tyler Cravey, Eric Cravey, Wesley Cravey, Caden Cravey, Jordan Cravey, Hailey Cravey, Lil’ T.J. Cravey, Bailey Cravey, Grace Cravey (Chad), Lila Sheffield, Jade Sheffield, Wyatt Cravey, Linda Meza, Michelle Meza, and Casey Meza; Great-Grandson – Noah Meza; Brother – Roy F. Davis (Brittany) of Eastman; Brother-in-law – Robert Hopwood (Sabrina); Several Nieces and Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the residence of Joey and Katie Cravey, 815 Albert Lampkin Rd., Eastman. Diane will lie-in-state from 11:00AM-3:00PM Wednesday, March 3.
