Obituary for Daniel Varnadoe

MR. DANIEL CODY VARNADOE, age 34, of Eastman, GA, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Dodge County Hospital.

 A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Daniel was born on May 11, 1992, in Dublin, GA and raised in Eastman. He was a 2010 graduate of Dodge County High School and received a diploma in Electronics from Heart of Georgia Technical College in Dublin. He worked for over 10 years with DISH Network as a technician in the Middle Georgia area and was currently employed with Eagle Electric in Cochran working as an Electrician and Plumber. He and his wife, Katelyn, were married on June 7, 2022, and have been together for over 15 years. Daniel was a loving husband, son, brother, and uncle and was affectionately known as “Vedo” to his friends. He enjoyed watching sports on TV, especially WWE Wrestling and UFC Fighting, and loved attending concerts. Daniel was an avid music lover and enjoyed listening to all kinds of music. He loved horses and taking care of his animals, especially his canine companion Cain. He was known as an honest, hardworking, loyal and very helpful friend to many. Daniel and his brother-in-law, George, were best friends and spent a lot of time together through the years. He is preceded in death by his father, Timothy Daniel “Danny” Varnadoe and his father-in-law, Christopher “Chris” Fountain.

 He is survived by his Wife – Katelyn Fountain Varnadoe of Eastman; Mother – Kimberly Williams Varnadoe of Eastman; 3 Sisters – Nikole Varnadoe Johnson (George) and Jessica Varnadoe, both of Eastman, and Heather Varnadoe (Jonathan Lowery) of Milan; Parents-in-law – Anissa and Ashley Holder of Eastman; Brothers-in-law – Jordan Fountain and Will Holder, both of Eastman and Michael Johnson of Abilene, TX; Grandparents-in-law – Billadine Garrett, Carol Fountian, and Bobby Garrett (Brenda); Aunts – Darice Varnadoe and Vecha White (Jimmy); Nieces and Nephews – Tristian Fountain, Morgan Fountain, Adilynn Fountain, Mitchell Johnson, Nickolas Varnadoe, Jody McMikel, Timothy McMikel, Josie McMikel, Maddy Lowery, Rosie Lowery, and Toby Lowery; Great Nephew – Ashton Johnson; Great Niece – Oaklyn Johnson; Several Extended Family Members
