MRS. CYNTHIA “CINDY” PEACOCK SWIFT HARRELL, age 63, of Rhine, GA, died Thursday, April 25, 2024, at her residence.

 Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, April 27, at Woodlawn Cemetery, with Rev. Roswell Chapman officiating.

 Cindy was born in Eastman, GA and lived most of her life in Dodge and Telfair County. She was a member of Sugar Creek Congregational Methodist Church, attended Telfair County High School, and was a cook for over twenty years at Knowles Bar-b-que in McRae, GA and at Pa Pete’s Restaurant in Milan, GA. She was a homemaker and a wonderful mother to her two children. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Cindy enjoyed watching movies, swimming, listening to music, dancing, and most importantly, being there for her family. She was affectionately known as “Granny” to her grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Verlie Strickland Peacock and Benny Peacock, Sr.

 She is survived by her Husband of 24 years – Jimmy Harrell of Rhine, GA; Daughter – LeAnn Bowen (Wade) of Rhine, GA; Son Jeremy Swift (Tracy) of Rhine, GA; Step-Children – Kim Pugh (Chris), Lisa Foskey (Ricky), Ruthie Rohen (Rip), Stuart Harrell (Nancy), and David Harrell (Jessica); Grandchildren – Brianna, Braleigh, Bristol, Jeremy, Jr., Ryelee, Kyle, Makayla, Brittany, Noah, Justin, Christopher, Johnathan, Jeremy, Valya, Josey, Cyndal, Caleb, Holden, and Loralei; Great-Grandchildren – Lucas, Alyssa, and Tyler; Sisters – Kathy Cortez (Rigo) of Douglas, GA, Beverly McCranie (Tony) of Eastman, GA, and Lori Rowell (Stephen Dorris) of Milan, GA; Brother – Benny Peacock, Jr. (Joanne) of Lawrenceville, GA; Numerous Nieces and Nephews; Aunts and Uncles – Clara Strickland Sawyer of Eastman, GA, Danny Strickland (Donna) of Rhine, GA, and Charlie Strickland (Ann) of Dawsonville, GA; Numerous Cousins and Friends.

 The family may be contacted at the residence of Jeremy and Tracy Swift, 724 2nd Street, Rhine, GA, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 12:30PM-1:30PM Saturday, April 27.
