MR. WILMER CURTIS JONES, SR., age 91, of Milan, GA, died Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at the Medical Center Navicent Health in Macon.

MR. WILMER CURTIS JONES, SR., age 91, of Milan, GA, died Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at the Medical Center Navicent Health in Macon.

 Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Saturday, November 23, at Antioch #2 Baptist Church, with Rev. Jack Lee officiating, with interment in Antioch #2 Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Mr. Jones was a lifelong resident of Milan, the oldest member and a deacon of Antioch #2 Baptist Church, and a lifelong farmer. He was a retired school bus driver for the Dodge County Board of Education for over 20 years and a former Farmer of the Year award recipient. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren, farming, and being outdoors. Curtis was son of the late Claudia Jones and was preceded in death by his Wife of 51 years, Inez Hart Jones, 2 Grandchildren, Jera Kaitlyn Sheffield and Wes Mullis, a Great-Grandson, Carter Wood, and a Nephew, Michael Pollard.

 Survivors: 2 Daughters – Elaine Bryant (Tracy) of Danville and Debbie Mullis (Brian) of Eastman; 2 Sons – Danny Jones (Kathy White) and Wilmer Curtis Jones, Jr. both of Milan; 6 Grandchildren – Chad Jones, Meryl Snow (Robert), Dustin Bryant (Whitney), Heather Bryant Wood (B.J.), Kristen Jones (Chad), and Cullen Sheffield (Lauren); 13 Great-Grandchildren – Lauren Jones, Ryan Jones, Rowen Snow, Harper Snow, Mary Blake Snow, Colton Wood, Braxton Wood, Leah Bryant, Walker Bryant, Karson Jones, Olivia Jones, Addison Jones, and Chanleigh Sheffield; Sister – Shirley Pollard (Darryle) of Odum; Niece – Paige Pollard Aspinwall (Glenn) of Odum; Special Friend – Kathleen Flemming of Bonaire; Numerous Cousins and Friends.

 The family may be contacted at the Jones residence, 400 Antioch South Church Rd., Milan, and will receive friends in Antioch #2 Baptist Church from 2:00PM-3:00PM Saturday, November 23. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to Antioch #2 Baptist Church.
