Cornelia Carolyn Parks, 81 of Anchorage, AK, formerly of Waverly Hall, GA, passed away May 8, 2025, peacefully at Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage, AK.
Mrs. Parks was born October 5, 1943, in Manchester, GA, the daughter of Lester Maddox Kendrick and Annie Clyde Braddy Kendrick. She was a certified Dietary Manager for Alvista Care Home in Greenville, GA. She also worked for Warm Springs Nursing Home and Deerfield Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ardith Donald "Don" Parks, brother Henry Wilson Kendrick and sister-in-law Wilma Gwendolyn "Cookie" Belflower Kendrick.
She is survived by sons Howard Andrew Parks of Anchorage, AK, Craig Steven Parks of Anchorage, AK, daughter Karen Nicole Peck and her husband Eric Peck of Bethel, AK, grandchildren Heather Marie Parks and Nathaniel Steven Parks of Anchorage, AK, sister Ruth Kendrick Studstill of Eastman, GA, many other extended family and friends.
Graveside services for Mrs. Parks will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Woodland Cemetery in Woodland, GA with her nephew Rev. Wilson Kendrick, Jr. officiating the service.
Cox Funeral Home in Manchester, GA will be in charge of the arrangements. Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home assisted the family locally.
