MRS. CONSTANCE “CONNIE” WOODARD STUCKEY, age 68, of Helena, GA, died Monday, September 16, 2024, at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA.
MRS. CONSTANCE “CONNIE” WOODARD STUCKEY, age 68, of Helena, GA, died Monday, September 16, 2024, at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Friday, September 20, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Mr. Eric Haskins officiating, with interment in Rentz City Cemetery.
Connie was born in Dodge County on August 13, 1956, to the late Helen McElroy Woodard and Carson J. Woodard, Sr. She was raised in Eastman, GA and lived in St. Simons, Island, GA before moving back to Eastman, where she was a 1974 graduate of Dodge County High School. She worked at the Eastman Dairy Queen for several years in the 1980s and soon after worked as the manager of the Hazlehurst Dairy Queen for over five years. She worked as an insurance agent for Liberty National Life Insurance Company from 1996 to 1998. She and her husband Randy later worked as pharmaceutical delivery associates for Gayco Healthcare for over ten years. They made many deliveries over the years to many nursing homes in Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina. Connie was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved cooking, trips to the beach, reading, swimming, and taking care of her family. She was the matriarch of her family and handled that task with dignity and grace. She will be forever missed by her family. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her Siblings, Carson J. “Jerry” Woodard, Jr., Sherry M. Woodard, and Cathy Lee Forbes, and her Brothers-in-law, Randy Forbes, Ronnie Stuckey and Mike Stuckey.
She is survived by her Husband – Randy Stuckey of Helena, GA; Step-Son – Scott Stuckey (Abby) of Rentz, GA; Step-Daughter – Lindsey Davis (Joshua) of Buford, GA; Step-Grandchildren – Austin Davis of Killen, TX, Alex Davis (Grace), Amy Davis, both of Buford, GA, and Jacob Stuckey of Rentz, GA; Brother – Bobby Woodard (Susan) of Eastman, GA; Nieces and Nephews – David Svendsen (Sandra), Andy Svendsen (Shelley), Ami Whitley (Thomas), Amy Youngblood, Melissa Stephens (Brad), Kevin Stuckey, Eric Haskins (Maleigh), Brad Haskins (Dena), Ernie Stuckey, and Missy Stuckey; Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews – Callie, Cameron, Danielle, Delila, Shea, Lee David, Cole, and Mary Kate; Sisters-in-law and Brother-in-law – Eugenia Haskins and Wiley Stuckey (Diane), both of Dublin, GA; Several Cousins and Numerous Friends.
