MRS. CHERYL ANN KREGER COLLINS, age 71, of Chauncey, GA, died Sunday, April 23, 2023, at her residence.

 A memorial service will be held at a later date.

 Mrs. Collins was born in 1951 in Shreveport, LA, and was of the Catholic Faith. As a daughter of a military family, she lived in several places during her father’s years of service with the United States Air Force. Cheryl was a graduate of Wheeling High School in Wheeling, Illinois and in her 20s she relocated to Macon, GA where she worked for Enterprise Aluminum, Inc. During this time, she met her future husband Roger, and they married in 1981 and lived in Eastman before moving to Chauncey. She was a homemaker and worked for several years as a Bank Teller for CB&T in Chauncey. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, and grandmother. She was devoted to caring for her husband and sister. She loved all of her family above all else. She enjoyed reading and long walks every morning. She had fond memories of summers spent at her grandparent's home on the river in Wisconsin as a young girl. She was the daughter of the late Ethel Weiland Kreger and Robert Paul Kreger, was preceded in death by her Sister-In-Law- Lois Harper.

 She is survived by her Husband – Roger Collins of Chauncey; Step-Daughter – Kim Stewart (Jeff Jones) of Greenville, SC; Step-Son – Roger “Buddy” Collins Jr. (Wendy) of Macon; 4 Grandchildren – Sid Stewart (Laura) of Charlotte, NC, Mason Stewart of Greenville, SC, Cameron Collins of Macon, GA, and Evyn Collins of Macon, GA; Sister – Kathy Kreger of Newnan; Sister-In-Law – Janis Sutton (Hal) of Macon, and 8 Nieces and Nephews – Robin Duffy, Sheila Wilford (Steve), Chris Bridgeman (Andrea), Tracy Archer, Richard Bridgeman (Michelle), Jimmy Giddens, Johnny Giddens (Phyllis), and Jan Johnson (Cecil).
