MR. CHARLES RANDALL CARR, age 75, of Eastman, Georgia, died Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Heart of Georgia Nursing Home in Eastman.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Monday, February 23, at Roddy Cemetery, with Rev. Robbie Passmore officiating.
Charles was born in Chester, GA and raised on the family farm. He attended Chester Elementary and was a graduate at Dodge County High School. He was the 7th of 9 siblings and was the father of 2 children, Angela and Randall. Mr. Carr was a retired farmer and for many years was semi-truck driver and had driven for several trucking companies through the years including Lumber Transport of Cochran, GA. Charles enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, and enjoyed being outdoors. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton W. Carr and Virgie Mae Horne Carr, siblings, James Carr, J.W. Carr, Ronnie Carr, Louise Carr Harrell, and a granddaughter, Jadia C. Rozier.
He is survived by his Companion of 21 years – Cheryl Sheffield of Eastman; Daughter – Angela Gail Carr; Son – Randall C. Carr; Step-Daughter – Denise Adams (Mike) of Brantley, GA; Granddaughter – Kayla Rozier of Empire; Sisters – Margaret Register of Macon and Sharon Bender of Cochran; Brothers – Thermon Carr (Barbara) of Empire and Russell Carr (Marie) of Gresston; Brother-in-law – Buddy McDaniel (Jenny) of Cochran; Numerous Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews.
The family may be contacted at the residence of Russell and Marie Carr, 3673 Cochran Hwy., Eastman, GA 31023, and will receive friends in Roddy Cemetery from 10:30AM-11:00AM on Monday, February 23.
