MR. CECIL DONALD STRAIT, age 62, of Fitzgerald, GA, died Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Life Care Center in Fitzgerald, GA.

Cecil was a born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Bluffton, SC. He was a 1978 graduate of H.E. McCracken High School in Bluffton, SC and was a former employee at The Pancake House in Savannah, GA. Mr. Strait enjoyed listening to music, reading, working puzzles, and building model ships and cars. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Elizabeth Fuller Strait and James Nelson Strait, Sr.
He is survived by 2 Brothers - James Nelson Strait Jr. and Ben Strait both of Bluffton, SC; Half-sister – Pam Strait; 2 Half-brothers – Mike Strait and Mark Strait; Nephew – Seth Strait; 2 Nieces – Sarah Strait and Victoria Strait.
