Obituary for Cecil Brown

MR. CECIL BROWN, age 81, of Eastman, GA, died Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at his residence.

 A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00PM-8:00PM Thursday, April 11, in Southerland Funeral Chapel.

 Cecil was born in Empire, GA and was a member of Gresston Baptist Church. He worked for Armstrong Industries in his earlier years, was a door-to-door salesman, and later sold insurance for American General. He also farmed for many years. Cecil was the son of the late Mary Hodge Brown and William L. “Doc” Brown and was preceded in death by his Son, Cecil Jay Brown, Brothers, Billy Ray Brown, W.C. Brown, and Wendell Brown.

 He is survived by his Daughter – Tammy Brown Wiggins of Eastman, GA; Son – Todd Brown of Gresston, GA; Grandchildren – Carter Brown, Christina McDuffie Sanders, Stephen McDuffie (Amy), Zachary Piccione (Jessica Spires), Malana Piccione (John Ryan Peacock), and Mackenzie Brown; Great-Grandchildren – Demi Peacock, Ayla Peacock, Wyatt Peacock, Charlie Peacock, Luke Piccione, and Blair Sanders; Sister – Shirley B. Hobbs (Curtis) of Cochran, GA; Brothers – Danny Brown (Karen) of Eastman, GA, Donny Brown of Gresston, GA, and Richard Brown of Dubois, GA; Sister-in-law – Nancy Brown of Chauncey, GA; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
